hibernation schmibernation. this is too go to go unposted. Roberto saw (daggers…) St. Vincent at Fort Worth’s Museum of Modern Art last night - that lucky bastard. I can’t even try to imagine what it would have been like seeing AC play in such an apropos venue. But ANYWAY - Lullabyes blog was kind & generous enough to post the whole darn thing. so 2FLWAY has been sleeping. bigtime. hibernating. when things calm down there will be some photos (hopefully!) & clips…can’t sign off without giving shout outs to Martine & her wonderful Camaromance show - which was sadly missed by the rowdy bratpack Hollywood types who left the Boat far too early last night (WTF? Gertie is dating that scrawny guy from the Mac commercials? ‘Ben’ from Felicity isn’t the brilliant calm Rhodes scholar we expected him to be in real life. sad. you know when i’m not caught up on stupid gossip that things are busy’n'weird) & Jeff’s super successful CD Release party at the ‘Shoe for his newly-named band My Shaky Jane - who had some airtime on the Edge this week, too! so this week will be less social in a word - a writeoff - the light at the end of the tunnel is the sweatydancygoodness of Shout Out Out Out @ Lee’s Friday with a crew of former coworkers…On that note…ugh.

Hmmm, there were hints of a Final Fantasy & Beirut collaboration at last week’s concert, but finally the P-dizzy has confirmed.
So much amazing music news has swept through the GoogleReader of lates, but I have no time nor energy to regurgitate it! For example - this Yahoo anti-DRM diatribe. Brilliant news!
Just realizing that I never cleared up why there was no Bonde Do Role review - I punked out & didn’t actually attend said concert. Boo, I know. But I had a super early out of the city meeting the next morning & I was just too old & too late to stick it out. I had a whole ‘circle of life’ moment when I sold my ticket to an adorable young & awake young lass who was accompanied by a charming colourful swishy character. Reminded me of my more youthful days….traipsing around, sleeping through morning classes (or getting up, grabbing pastries, & returning to the dorm to watch Jenny Jones. Yikes - how did I get out of there w/ ‘Distinction’???)
So yeah- there will probably be more punking where that came from tonight - ‘maybe’-RSVP’ed for the ZooBombs, but with a 6am pickup for a super early flight to Phoenix, we all know that its a straight home trip post-FacebookCampII (which my geeky lil’ heart is pitterpattering for, I won’t lie).
So silver-lining’n'all - looking forward to a 1st trip to AZ tomorrow (but missing the official E-Day is a bit of a downer after immersing myself into the ElectionPredictor site), but skeptical of hotel-escaping opportunities…
Ah! Almost forgot - Thanksgiving was worthy of many thanks. Lovely time up in the Hoot meeting up with long lost friends and enjoying fresh air, family time, Father Ted, long (slow) drives, scenic foliage, gym-time (!?) & more…
