They say that friends are friends; To the bitter end; Long-as-there’s-a-record-deal-we’ll-always-be-friends!

Well, last night was a complete punk-out on my end. Fell asleep ’round 9:45 reading fashion-y music mags & trashy old FRANK issues & couldn’t rouse masself to get to Sneaky Dee’s in time for the show. Sad, really, really, sad. But they’ll be plenty of gig-watching-time in London! I have compiled a kick-ass list of concerts & club nights that cannot fail me (but please keep the suggestions coming!!). I’m really looking forward to going out with my colleagues (& hopefully with Tammy, Zac & Cathail, too) for some live shows & DJ sets while we’re there together - one - last - time.

The past couple days have been crammed with boldface name meetings - which makes the finite time left at the job even more apparent….Part of me is phasing masself out & part of me is stubbornly trying to stay relevant. Ah, the ying & yang of office life.

In other, less serious news, the trailer sent to me by Stefanie (of Backstage Suicide fame)has finally blossomed into a full-length movie. I remember clearly that the sight of JB in tights was one of the few things that could melt my heart (& ovaries) in the dead of winter & that I thanked Stefanie profusely for the sneak peek….Sorry that I can’t be at the ATX screening (at the Alamo? Don’t rub it in if it’s here…Tell me its in the ‘burbs.).

NOW has an inneresting enough article this week on the man that Robyn continues to tease me about having a celeb crush on…(How can you not see it after going to the D concert, girl?)The upcoming weekend will have to include a trip to the cinema to boost opening w/e box office revenues - it’s my duty as a D-Girl.

peace
meegs
